66 companies have reduced their land banks to less than 100 hectares since the opening of the land market and have dropped out of the list of large landowners of the State Land Cadastre.
This is stated in a message of the Opendatabot service, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The message states that the list of businesses that own more than 100 hectares of land has decreased by 66 companies.
If at the beginning of 2024 there were 283 of them, now there are 217.
Of these, 34 companies are registered with the TOT.
And the rest of the companies on the list have reduced their holdings: over the year the area of their land plots has decreased by 8,225.4 hectares.
The largest amount of land remains in the ownership of Ahrofirma Svitanok and Druzhkivse Rudoupravlinnia.
Opendatabot published the TOP-5 largest land owners, namely:
Agrofirma Svitanok 5,046.1 hectares, ultimate beneficial owner Andrii Anatoliiovych Zasukha; Druzhkivske Rudoupravlinnia 3,337.8 hectares, owner Rinat Leonidovych Akhmetov; Zerniatko-Pivden 2,750.5 hectares, owner Dmytro Volodymyrovych Motuzko and Yuliia Petrivna Zavertana; Zemletreid 1,877.8 hectares, owner Andrii Serhiiovych Malenko; Agrogolden1,336.5 hectares, owner Yevhenii Anatoliiovych Radoveniuk.

It is noted that since January 2024, the land market has become open for business.
However, instead of a wave of purchases, businesses that owned a significant number of land plots are selling land.
2,554 land plots have been sold by companies in the year since the land market opened for business.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 1, 2024, the first 16 online auctions for the sublease of state agricultural lands were held in the Prozorro. Sales system, according to their results, the total amount of winning bids is UAH 35.4 million (excluding VAT).
The State Property Fund has created the first state operator of agricultural lands.
The SPFU estimates the total number of state agricultural lands at 806,000 hectares.
