48 defendants in NACB and SACPO cases mobilized in Armed Forces of Ukraine

48 defendants in cases of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office mobilized on their own initiative to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the stage of trial.

This is stated in the SACPO report, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Unfortunately, the mobilization of defendants in SACPO and NACB cases has become one of the relevant and popular methods of avoiding criminal liability. Currently, 48 people mobilized on their own initiative to the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the indictments were sent to court," the prosecutor's office said in a statement.

In this regard, the consideration of their cases has been suspended, and the terms of bringing them to justice are running out, which increases the likelihood of avoiding punishment.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Roman Nasirov, voluntarily mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the stage of court debates, but after publicity, the mobilization order was canceled.
