Russians trying to break through with armored vehicles on Pokrovsk axis – Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group

On the Pokrovsk axis, the russians have placed the greatest emphasis and are trying to attack there at any cost, and they also record the largest number of armored vehicles there.

The spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group Viktor Trehubov has reported this on the air of Suspilne.Novyny.

According to him, on the Pokrovsk axis, armored vehicles are used "classically" - for breakthroughs and fire support. Perhaps that is why, Trehubov suggested, the russians placed the greatest emphasis on that axis, trying to achieve success at any cost.

However, on most other axes, the enemy has replaced heavy "armor" with light equipment. After all, only fast vehicles can "escape" from drones.

"It should be noted that heavy armored vehicles are currently ineffective as breakthrough weapons in the conditions of our war. They are ineffective as fire support weapons. And as a means of transport, to be honest, not very effective. Simply because there are so many drones. Many drones characterize this war," said Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday, April 8, analysts of the Ukrainian DeepState project stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had knocked out the russians from part of the village of Shevchenko, which is located a few kilometers from Pokrovsk.
