On the night of Saturday, April 12, russian troops launched 88 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 56 of them, 24 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of April 12 (from 08:00 pm on April 11), the enemy attacked with 88 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - the russian federation.
"As of 09:00 am, it has been confirmed that 56 Shahed attack UAVs (other types of UAVs) have been shot down in the north, south, east and center of the country. 24 enemy simulator UAVs were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.
The russian attack affected the Kharkiv, Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk Regions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, from 09:00 pm on April 10 to 09:00 am on April 11, air defense forces shot down 24 of the 39 UAVs launched by russia over the territory of Ukraine, another 13 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
