Air Force exhausted its reserves of missiles for Soviet equipment - Ihnat

During three years of full-scale war, anti-aircraft battles have actually depleted the resource of missiles for Soviet equipment of anti-aircraft missile forces. This was reported by the head of the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat on Facebook.

All these years, the Ukrainian military has actively used these missiles to repel russian attacks, but the bulk of enemy targets were destroyed thanks to modern Western air defense systems provided by international partners. Also, at the moment, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine primarily relies on the support of partners.

"Over three years of war, daily anti-aircraft battles, the Air Force has actually exhausted the resource of missiles for the Soviet anti-aircraft missile forces, and now our soldiers are primarily counting on the support of partners, in the context of continuing supplies of Western systems, and most importantly, missiles for them, to strengthen Ukrainian air defense," Ihnat said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy from Kryvyi Rih said that Ukraine needs 10 more Patriot air defense systems.
