On April 9, 149 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovsk (40 clashes) and Lyman (27) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 94 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, in particular, dropped 162 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 6,300 attacks, 96 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,868 kamikaze drones to destroy them.
On April 9, 149 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, 5 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Kamianka, Fyholivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, 2 attacks by the occupiers near Zahryzove and Nova Kruhliakivka were repelled.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 27 times near the settlements of Nadiia, Katerynivka, Myrne, Serhiivka, Nove, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka and in the directions of Zelena Dolyna, Hrekivka and Novomykhailivka.
On the Siversk axis, the aggressor carried out 10 attacks on the areas of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhniokamianske.
On the Kramatorsk axis, two clashes were recorded in the area of Chasiv Yar.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near Toretsk, Druzhba, Dachne, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, 40 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Kalynove, Shevchenko, Troitske, Preobrazhenka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Vodiane Druhe, Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Andriivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Kotliarivka and Bohdanivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 6 attacks in the direction of Bahatyr and near Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv.
On the Huliaipole axis, 5 attacks were repelled in the Novosilka area and in the direction of Shevchenko.
On the Orikhiv axis, 9 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Shcherbaky.
In the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 19 attacks by russian invaders.
In addition, the enemy carried out 46 air strikes using 82 guided bombs, and also carried out 410 artillery attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements, in particular, 8 - from multiple launch rocket systems.
The russians did not conduct offensive operations on the Dnieper-Kharkiv axis.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery hit 11 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, an air defense system and two guns of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on April 9 amounted to 1,420 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 8, 161 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most of all on the Pokrovsk (58 clashes) and Kursk (25) axes.
