On April 7, 159 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked the most in the Pokrovsk (52 clashes) and Toretsk (23) Axes.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 74 air strikes, in particular, dropping 120 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,800 shelling, 134 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,782 kamikaze drones for strikes.
On April 7, 159 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, in the Kupyansk Axis, there were four attacks by the invaders.
The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the direction of Pishchane, near Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 21 times, trying to advance near Nadiya, Yampolivka, Torske and in the direction of Novoplatonivka, Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Ridkodub, Olhivka, Zelena Dolyna and Nove.
In the Siversk Axis, during the day, the russians launched three attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units in the area of Hryhorivka, the attacks were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, three clashes were recorded in the areas of Kurdiumivka and Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy launched 23 attacks near Dachne, Shcherbynivka, Ozarianivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 52 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Kalynove, Lysivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Kotlyne, as well as in the directions of Kotliarivka, Malynivka and Serhiivka.
In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 12 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Bahatyr and near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv and Skudne.
In the Huliaipole Axis, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to advance towards the settlement of Shevchenko.
In the Orikhiv Axis, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled eight enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove and Shcherbaky.
In the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 21 attacks by russian invaders.
In addition, the enemy carried out five air strikes here using nine guided bombs, and also carried out 278 artillery shelling on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements, including one with MLRS.
The russians did not conduct offensive operations in the Kharkiv and Prydniprovsk Axes.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 17 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, one control point and a radar station of the Buk air defense system of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on April 7 amounted to 1,290 people.
