On the night of Tuesday, April 8, russian troops launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 46 drones over the territory of Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 9 drones, another 31 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of April 8 (from 07:00 pm on April 7), the enemy attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Kursk Oblast (russian federation) and 46 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region (russian federation).
"As of 08:00 am, the shooting down of 9 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones in the east and north of the country has been confirmed. 31 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.
The Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk Regions were affected by the russian attack.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of April 5, the russians launched 92 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 51 of them, and another 31 drones were lost in location.
