The Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa, stated that the Crimean Bridge, as before, remains a target for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Neizhpapa said this in an interview with Krym.Realii.
He admitted that now the Crimean Bridge has become a more difficult target. This is due to the fact that the occupiers have strengthened its defense after previous attacks by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
"But in life there is no fortress that cannot be destroyed. There are no borders that cannot be crossed. And the bridge is the same. The same target as the rest," Neizhpapa said.
The admiral added that "information silence" is needed to achieve success in the issue of destroying the illegally built bridge.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February of this year it became known that the occupiers had reduced the frequency of cargo transportation across the Crimean Bridge.
We also wrote that in January, stormy weather led to the destruction of the protective structures with which the russians were covering the Crimean Bridge.
We will remind, in the fall of 2024, the russians were forced to remove air defense systems from the territory of occupied Crimea and transfer them closer to the Crimean Bridge.
