In January-March 2025, the budget received UAH 5.4 billion in tax payments from gambling business entities, which is 20.4% more than in the same period in 2024.
Danylo Hetmantsev, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
This is 143 times higher than the level of January-March 2021 (UAH 37.7 million).
The amount of turnover with the use of registrars of settlement operations/software registrars of settlement operations in January-February 2025 amounted to UAH 8.5 billion, which is 18.5 times higher than the level of January-February 2024 (UAH 0.5 billion).
The introduction of mandatory use of registrars of settlement operations/software registrars of settlement operations by the gambling business at the end of last year contributes to the de-shadowing of the industry.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Danylo Hetmantsev advised Zhan Beleniuk to pay 23% of the USD 100 found in Washington.
