Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko sells diplomas and flowers.
This is stated in his declaration for 2024, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is indicated that he received UAH 1,400 from the Kharkiv City Council.
The type of income is indicated as "the cost of orders, medals, badges, cups, diplomas, certificates and flowers".
He also received UAH 1,000 in social payments from his university and UAH 4,300 in additional benefits from the Poltava Regional Council.
UAH 1.3 million was his income as a military serviceman, as well as UAH 36,700 in social payments from the National Academy of Legal Sciences.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO super heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk received a PhD in Law. The defense took place at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Serhii Vitvitskyi, indicated in his declaration that he lives in the dormitory of his higher educational institution.
