On April 6, 165 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest were on the Pokrovsk (53 clashes) and Kursk (35 clashes) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike using 23 missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 90 air strikes, in particular, dropping 158 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,600 attacks, 149 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,112 kamikaze drones to strike.
On April 6, 165 clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, two clashes took place in the area of Vovchansk and in the direction of Kamianka.
On the Kupiansk axis, eight attacks by the invaders were recorded.
The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near the settlements of Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 22 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Nove, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Nadiia and in the directions of Novomykhailivka, Novoserhiivka, Torske, and Ridkodub.
On the Siversk axis, two clashes took place near Bilohorivka.
All attempts by the enemy to advance were successfully repelled by the Ukrainian defenders.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers did not conduct active offensive actions.
On the Toretsk axis, the russians carried out 18 attacks in the areas of Dachne, Dyliivka, Toretsk and Leonidivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 attacks of the aggressor near the settlements of Sukha Balka, Kalynove, Udachne, Sribne, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotliarivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, Vodiane Druhe, Kotlyne and Uspenivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled nine enemy assaults near Rozlyv, Kostiantynopil, Vesele and Burlatske.
On the Huliaipole axis, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian defenders three times in the areas of Pryvilne and Vilne Pole.
On the Orikhiv axis, in the areas of Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske, the invaders carried out four futile attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
One unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to advance to the positions of the Defense Forces was repelled by Ukrainian defenders on the Dnieper axis.
On the Kursk axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 35 russian attacks.
The enemy carried out 212 artillery attacks here, 13 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out 16 air strikes, during which 27 guided bombs were dropped.
On April 6, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers over the past day amounted to 1,350 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 4, 145 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was on the Pokrovsk (40 clashes) and Lyman (39) axes.
