The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the russian federation's statements about Ukraine's alleged "violation" of the ceasefire agreements regarding energy facilities and emphasized that the Defense Forces strike exclusively at military targets.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"The Russian Defense Ministry is once again spreading false statements about Ukraine's alleged "violation" of the ceasefire agreements regarding energy facilities. The enemy is doing this solely to divert world attention from the crimes that the Russian state is committing against Ukraine and Ukrainians.
So, new disinformation accusations have appeared from the Russian side about 14 alleged "attacks" by the Ukrainian Defense Forces against russian energy infrastructure during the day on April 4. The "attacks" are fake.
In fact, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are carrying out fire strikes exclusively against military targets of the russian occupation army," the message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states.
The General Staff stated that it is the russian invaders who are ignoring any agreements and carrying out attacks against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and ordinary cities and villages.
In particular, they recalled the strike on Kryvyi Rih on April 4, which killed 9 children and 9 adults, injured 62 people, as well as other shelling.
"The military department of the terrorist state is once again resorting to false accusations, trying to shift its own responsibility for prolonging the war and the loss of lives onto Ukraine. We expect that the world will not accept Russia's lies and will condemn another brutal Russian war crime," the General Staff emphasized.
