The aggressor country of russia is preparing for active combat operations in several directions and plans to increase its grouping by 150,000. This was told to journalists by the deputy head of the President's Office Pavlo Palisa, Suspilne reported on Thursday, April 3.
Palisa said that russia plans to increase the grouping by approximately 15 motorized rifle divisions and is preparing to intensify combat operations in several directions. According to him, the Ukrainian command sees this.
"Their formation is ongoing. The russians currently have no problems with attracting personnel. However, it must be understood that all these formations cannot be brought into battle at the same time. Therefore, it is expected that in the near future they will try to exert maximum pressure in those directions where this is possible," said the deputy head of the President's Office.
The russians are not interested in a ceasefire except in the maritime direction, so the pressure on the front continues amid consultations on the cessation of hostilities, Palisa stressed. He also said that the occupiers, with very heavy losses, are achieving some partial tactical successes and stalling for time. At the same time, the Ukrainian military is achieving results with their counterattacks, the deputy head of the President's Office emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 1, the spokesman for the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn, said that the army of the aggressor country, russia, has tripled the number of assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the southern sections of the front.
