The administration of US President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of imposing aggressive sanctions on the aggressor country russia because moscow is taking time and does not show a desire to conclude a peace agreement.
Senior White House correspondent and Fox News host Jacqui Heinrich has written this on X.
"A source familiar with the discussions tells FOX President Trump is frustrated with Putin, and believes Russia is “slow-rolling comprehensive ceasefire talks”. A “path forward” is being discussed," she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
According to her, an unnamed source from the White House said that compliance with sanctions is currently at a low level. Trump rates it at 3 out of 10.
Closing the "shadow fleet" that russia uses to export oil and petroleum products could become an easy target for pressure.
Heinrich added that most of this fleet is already under sanctions.
