The State Statistics Service revised the annual GDP dynamics from 5.3% to 5.5% and the quarterly GDP dynamics for 2023.
This was announced by the State Statistics Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In total, in 2023, the real gross domestic product increased by 5.5% compared to 2022 (in constant 2021 prices) to UAH 6,537.825 billion (in actual prices).
The data are provided without taking into account the territories temporarily occupied by russia and part of the territories where hostilities are (were) underway.
According to the revised data of the State Statistics Service, GDP in the first quarter of 2023 decreased by 10.2% to UAH 1,362.537 billion, in the second quarter of 2023 it increased by 19.3% to UAH 1,463.941 billion, in the third quarter of 2023 it increased by 9.7% to UAH 1,778.356 billion, and in the fourth quarter it increased by 5.2% to UAH 1,932.991 billion.
The State Statistics Service clarifies the indicators of real gross domestic product throughout the year.
Earlier, the State Statistics Service reported that GDP in the 1st quarter of 2023 decreased by 10.3% to UAH 1,362.537 billion (in actual prices), in the 2nd quarter of 2023 it increased by 19.2% to UAH 1,463.941 billion, in the 3rd quarter of 2023 it increased by 9.6% to UAH 1,778.356 billion, in the 4th quarter of 2023 it increased by 4.7% to UAH 1,932.991 billion.
