Car dealership with 17 new Tesla cars burned down in Rome. Police suspect arson

The police in Rome are investigating the alleged arson of a Tesla car dealership, where a fire destroyed 17 new electric cars.

This is reported by Bloomberg.

The police have not yet provided details of the investigation.

Meanwhile, Tesla CEO Elon Musk on the social network X called the fire "terrorism", although he did not add evidence that his car dealership was actually set on fire.

The fire partially damaged the building where the cars were located. However, there were no injured.

In recent weeks, Tesla cars, dealerships and charging stations have been repeatedly attacked, which are associated with a reaction to Elon Musk's actions.

At the same time, Elon Musk, who is also an advisor to US President Donald Trump, is engaged in reducing government spending, which is associated with mass layoffs across the country.

Recall that in January, Tesla Inc. sales fell by 45% across Europe, while rival automakers saw a surge in demand for electric vehicles.
