The first batch of Ukrainian apples, which were highly appreciated by the Indian side, has arrived in India.
This is stated in a message from the Embassy of Ukraine in India, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We would like to thank Ukrainian producers for supplying high-quality products, which successfully passed the inspection measures provided for by local legislation and were highly appreciated by the Indian side," the message says.
It is noted that this is an important stage for Ukraine and Ukrainian producers, who continue to open new markets, expanding the geography of supplies of high-quality agricultural products.
Such deliveries were the result of joint work of the Embassy of Ukraine in India, the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, aimed at opening new markets for the export of domestic agricultural products.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early March, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Service for Food and Consumer Protection of Ukraine held successful negotiations with the Canadian side, as a result of which the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) approved a program for the export of fresh apples from Ukraine to Canada.
