Shahed strike on Kharkiv: military hospital damaged, number of wounded growing

On the evening of March 29, the aggressor country russia launched a massive strike with kamikaze drones on Kharkiv. One of the targets of the occupiers was a military hospital.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported this.

"On the evening of March 29, once again cynically violating the norms of international humanitarian law, Russian terrorists launched a strike on a military hospital in the city of Kharkiv. As a result of the hit by the Shahed UAVs, the hospital building and nearby residential buildings were damaged," the General Staff said yesterday.

They added that there are injured servicemen in the hospital who were undergoing treatment there. There are no fatalities there.

According to Ihor Terekhov, there are injured and destruction in several districts of Kharkiv at once. As of the morning of March 30, 35 people were injured.

"35 injured, including five children. 13 people are hospitalized, one teenage girl is in serious condition," Terekhov reported.

Two people, a man and a woman, were killed as a result of the night attack on Kharkiv.

Terekhov specified that 27 residential buildings were damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi District. A market, a civil registration office, the House of Projects, a college, and a dormitory where IDPs live were destroyed. More than 10 civilian cars and garages burned down. The Kholodnohirskyi District of Kharkiv was also hit by the enemy. 32 private houses were damaged there.

According to Bohdan Hladkyi, director of the city's emergency department, this is the third time in a month that such a massive attack has taken place in Kharkiv.

Recall that on March 29, russian troops launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, with five injured people reported, as well as houses and a school damaged.
