On March 28, the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund completed the seventh review of the program under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), under which Ukraine will receive a new tranche of about USD 400 million.
It was reported on the official portal of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The IMF noted Ukraine's progress in fulfilling the conditions of the EFF program as of the end of December 2024. It is reported that the Ukrainian economy remains stable, and the indicators of the implementation of the EFF program remain high, despite the conditions of a full-scale war.
"Ukraine has fulfilled all quantitative performance criteria as of the end of December, preliminary measures for this review, as well as most structural beacons. The deadlines for the implementation of some conditions have been adjusted taking into account the possibilities," the message says.
Including the new tranche, the total amount of payments under the EFF program will exceed USD 10.1 billion.
The State Budget of Ukraine has already received seven tranches under the IMF EFF program, totaling about USD 9.8 billion out of the planned USD 15.5 billion for the period 2023-2027.
