On March 28, 183 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovsk (73 assaults) and Toretsk (20 attacks) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using five missiles, and 94 air strikes, dropping 179 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,899 attacks, including 145 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,853 kamikaze drones for destruction.

Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the russians tried four times to break through the defensive lines of the Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Vovchansk and towards Kamianka.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were three attacks by the invaders.
Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions in the area of Zahryzove and towards Bohuslavka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 16 times, trying to wedge into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Nadiia, Yampolivka and towards Hrekivka, Nove, Novomykhailivka, and Zelena Dolyna.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian soldiers successfully stopped one enemy attack near Ivano-Daryivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders attacked four times in the area of Chasiv Yar and towards Bila Hora, Predtechyne.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the area of Toretsk and towards Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 73 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and towards Kalynove.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Dniproenerhiia.
On the Huliaipole axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped four attacks in the area of Privilne.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupation troops stormed the positions of the Defense Forces eight times towards the settlements of Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Kamianske and further north Nesterianka.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped two enemy attacks.
In the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, the russians carried out 28 airstrikes during the past day, dropping 44 guided bombs and carrying out 371 shelling operations, 16 of them with MLRS.
Ukrainian defenders stopped 14 assaults by the invaders here.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have damaged nine areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one air defense system, one control point, two artillery systems and two other enemy facilities.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on March 28 amounted to 1,740 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 27, 209 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was on the Pokrovsk (68 clashes) and Lyman (32) axes.
