President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting with representatives of the general staffs of the armies of those countries that are really ready to send their troops to Ukraine to ensure a possible ceasefire.
The President made the corresponding statement during a briefing, his words are quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, on the eve, Ukraine and the countries that are "one hundred percent" ready to send their contingents agreed to hold an urgent meeting.
"We urgently agreed, we are giving it a week, to hold a meeting in Ukraine in a narrow circle <...> Not all of them will come, we are inviting a narrow circle," the President said.
He added that representatives of Ukraine, France and the United Kingdom will attend this meeting.
After that, a meeting will be organized at the level of national security advisors. Ukraine will show them its infrastructure and a general vision of the deployment of contingents of troops.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 27, French President Emmanuel Macron said that countries from the Coalition of the Willing were instructed to submit proposals for participation in a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine within three weeks.
Recall, the day before, President Zelenskyy announced an increase in the number of proposals from countries to participate in a peacekeeping mission.
And on March 26, Reuters wrote, citing its own sources, that Europe is no longer considering sending troops to Ukraine, but is working on discussing alternative options for security guarantees.
