More than 2,447 children have already been injured in russia's war against Ukraine, of whom 606 have been killed. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
"More than 2,447 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the russian federation. As of the morning of March 28, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 606 children have been killed and over 1,841 have been injured of varying severity," the Prosecutor General's Office noted.
According to the prosecutor's office, the most affected children were in the following regions: Donetsk - 636, Kharkiv - 471, Kherson - 202, Dnipropetrovsk - 203, Kyiv - 136, Zaporizhzhia - 170, Mykolaiv - 118, Sumy - 115.
"Over the past few days: on March 25, a three-year-old girl was killed and a 15-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling in the village of Kurtivka, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk Region. On March 26, a 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling in the city of Kharkiv," the report says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian authorities have launched a state portal for searching for children "Children of War".
The leadership of the Donetsk Region has decided to expand the zone in which children are being forcibly evacuated. Thirteen settlements in four territorial communities have been included in it.
