North Korea sends another 3,000 soldiers to russia for war against Ukraine - media

In January and February, North Korea probably sent another 3,000 soldiers to russia to take part in the war in Ukraine.

This was reported by the Yonhap publication with reference to the South Korean Armed Forces.

Previously, the DPRK sent 11,000 soldiers to russia, of whom 4,000 were killed or seriously injured.

"More than 3,000 people were probably sent additionally in January and February," the Joint Chiefs of Staff reported.

In addition to people, the DPRK continues to send missiles, ammunition and artillery to russia. To help the Kremlin, most likely, they sent:

  • a large number of short-range ballistic missiles,
  • about 220 self-propelled howitzers of 170 mm caliber;
  • multiple launch rocket systems of 240 mm caliber.

North Korea is also working on developing a military spy satellite, but it is unknown when it will be launched.

Recall that South Korean intelligence believes that there are signs that North Korean troops deployed in russia to participate in the war with Ukraine were trained in Moscow in operations using drones and the tactics of their use.

Currently, the aggressor country, russia, is using either its own weapons or weapons of North Korean origin in the war against Ukraine, and there are almost no Iranian ones.
