On the night of Wednesday, March 26, russian troops launched a ballistic missile and 117 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 56 drones, another 48 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of March 26 (from 8 p.m. on March 25), the enemy attacked with 117 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all – russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea).
"As of 9 a.m., it has been confirmed that 56 Shahed attack UAVs (other types of UAVs) have been shot down in the south, north, east and center of the country. 48 enemy simulator UAVs have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.
The Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy Regions were affected by the russian attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Tuesday, March 25, russian troops launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 139 UAVs over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 78 drones, another 34 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
