Missile strike on Sumy damages 6 educational institutions, no students injured – Lisovyi

As a result of the occupiers' attack on a residential area of ​​the city of Sumy on March 24, six educational institutions were damaged, but no students were injured.

Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi wrote about this on Facebook.

"Sumy. Another terrorist act by Russia... Six educational institutions were damaged. Fortunately, all students who were at school at the time of the attack are alive and well. The educational process in the city is taking place in shelters," Lisovyi wrote on Facebook.

The Minister thanked teachers and psychologists for being there all the time and providing children with proper support and assistance after the shelling.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the afternoon of March 24, russian occupiers launched a missile strike on the center of the city of Sumy, damaging several high-rise buildings and a school. The children were in shelters and were not injured.

40 children and 16 adults were evacuated from the site of the russian missile strike.

It was also reported that on Monday, March 24, the russians dropped an explosive device from a drone on the village of Shalyhyne, Shostka District, Sumy Region. There are casualties.
