On the night of Monday, March 24, russian troops launched 99 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 57 of them, another 36 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of March 24 (from 08:00 pm on March 23), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 99 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - the russian federation).
"As of 08:00 am, it has been confirmed that 57 Shahed attack UAVs (other types of drones) have been shot down in the south, north, west and center of the country. 36 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.
The Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kirovohrad and Zaporizhzhia Regions were affected by the russian attack.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of March 22, the russians launched 179 drones over Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 100 of them, and another 63 drones did not reach their targets.
