The grandmother of Olympic biathlon champions Vita and Valentyna Semerenko was killed in russian shelling of Krasnopillia in the Sumy Region.
Vita Semerenko wrote about this on Instagram, posting a photo of the destroyed houses in Krasnopillia, where her grandmother lived.
"Today, March 23, my grandmother's heart stopped beating. On the 21st, my grandmother turned 90. She could still live, but the damned russians took her life. When they violently erased my Krasnopillia in three days, they also took my grandmother. They erased my home, erased her life, erased the memory. Damned inhumans, burn in hell for all the evil you brought to this land. You are not people - you are animals, and retribution will come," Vita wrote.

In addition, Vita Semerenko published a video showing the consequences of russian attacks on Krasnopillia.
