The regions of the aggressor country of russia continue to increase the amount of the lump sum payment paid to russians after signing a contract to send to war in Ukraine. This amount has reached almost RUB 4 million.
This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The increase in the amount of the lump sum payment is taking place as part of attracting the population to participate in the war against Ukraine.
The russian authorities are betting on radicalized youth who are easily influenced by propaganda, as well as people in a difficult financial situation.
It is emphasized that in some regions of the russian federation since the beginning of 2025, the amount of the lump sum payment has been increased to over RUB 2 million. And in the Samara Oblast, the authorities are offering almost RUB 4 million for sending to war against Ukraine.
"The regular increase in financial bonuses is a forced step by the Kremlin, which indicates difficulties in replenishing units. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the authorities of the aggressor state to find a sufficient number of people willing to fight, even for significant costs," the Defense Ministry's Defense Intelligence noted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January of this year it became known that the Tatarstan authorities began offering RUB 2.8 million for signing a contract with the army to send it to war in Ukraine.
