On the night of March 23, the russian federation attacked Ukraine with 147 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from five directions. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The russians launched the drones from Millerovo, Bryansk, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Prymorsk (temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Region).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8:30 am, it was confirmed that 97 Shahed attack UAVs (drones of other types) were shot down in the south, north, west and center of the country.
In addition, 25 enemy drones-simulators were lost in location.
The Air Force noted that on the night of March 23, the occupiers used a larger number of strike UAVs (at least 122 units), and drones-simulators, respectively - 25.
The Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa and Donetsk Regions were affected by the russian attack.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian federation attacked Kyiv with strike drones at night, and drones were recorded falling in various districts.
Three people were killed in Kyiv due to the drone attack, and 7 residents of the capital were injured.
