President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the holding of a big summit of the "Coalition of the Willing" next week. In addition, he said that he would meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
He stated this at a joint press conference with Czech President Petr Pavel, "We Ukraine" reports.
"Next week we will have a big bilateral meeting with President Macron. We have many questions. I hope that we will have a good result of this meeting. In addition, there will be an important summit, we can call it "Coalition of the Willing"," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that among the topics of the negotiations will be a strategy for security guarantees for Ukraine after the war.
"We will also talk about how to support the Ukrainian army. Also – what the infrastructure of the contingent itself will look like: where, how many, who is ready, who is ready to be in the "Coalition of the Willing", and who is not ready yet... As for the UN – with all due respect, the UN will not protect us from occupation or Putin's desire to come again," Volodymyr Zelenskyy added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy believes that the United Nations peacekeeping mission will not be able to protect Ukraine from a possible repeated attack by the aggressor country russia.
