Russian president vladimir putin has signed a decree that obliges Ukrainian citizens in the occupied territory to either obtain a russian passport or leave the country.
This was reported by propaganda information resources with reference to the legal information portal.
Putin ordered Ukrainian citizens in russia to "regulate their legal status" or leave. Legal status is understood to mean either obtaining a russian passport or a residence permit. The decree applies to Ukrainians who do not have legal grounds to be on the territory of the russian federation.
It also states that foreigners and stateless persons who are in the russian-occupied territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions must undergo a medical examination to confirm the absence of infectious diseases and the fact of drug use.

As a reminder, since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainians who are in the temporarily occupied territories without a passport of the aggressor country have lost all rights. In particular, without a russian passport, it is now impossible to obtain vital medicines.
