After putin's order to stop strikes on Ukraine's energy sector, russia continued to attack it - Zelenskyy

After the alleged order of the leader of the aggressor country, russia, vladimir putin, after a conversation with US President Donald Trump on March 18, to stop strikes on Ukraine's energy sector, russia continued to attack it.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a joint meeting with the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, with representatives of the media, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Even tonight, after putin's conversation with US President Donald Trump, when putin said that he was supposedly ordering an end to strikes on Ukrainian energy, there were 150 drones overnight, including on energy facilities, there were strikes on transport, unfortunately two hospitals were hit, on ordinary urban infrastructure. That is, putin's words are very different from reality. That is why we need defense support, we need support for our air defense, we need pressure on russia for the sake of security and saving people's lives," he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Trump called his conversation with russian dictator vladimir putin on March 18 "good" and "productive." In particular, according to Trump, they agreed on an immediate ceasefire at all energy and infrastructure facilities and discussed many elements of a peace agreement.

According to the Kremlin, during the conversation, Trump proposed a mutual 30-day renunciation by the parties to the conflict of strikes on energy infrastructure facilities. Putin responded positively to this initiative and immediately gave the russian military the appropriate command.
