In a week, the aggressor country of russia launched over 1,020 strike UAVs, almost 1,360 aerial bombs and more than 10 missiles of various types over Ukraine.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel.
"Hundreds of shelling of our cities and communities this week: Chernihiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Poltava, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy Regions. The russians launched over 1,020 strike drones, almost 1,360 guided aerial bombs and more than 10 missiles of various types," Zelenskyy wrote.
He emphasized that this is definitely not what those who want the war to end as soon as possible do.
"Therefore, we must jointly put pressure on russia to force it to end the aggression. Decisive measures are needed, including sanctions, which should not only be maintained, but also constantly strengthened. Ukraine, Europe, America and everyone in the world who wants peace - together we can ensure a just and lasting peace," the President stressed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Sunday, March 16, the aggressor country of russia attacked Ukraine with 90 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the following directions: Millerovo, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Chauda.
As of 09:00 am, it was confirmed that 47 Shahed strike UAVs and drones of other types were shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa Regions.
At the same time, 33 enemy drone simulators were lost in location (without negative consequences).
