The Verkhovna Rada intends to guarantee the right of military personnel to receive monetary compensation for all unused days of annual basic and additional vacation in the event of dismissal from service during martial law.
289 parliamentarians voted for bill No. 11495 as a basis, with the minimum required 226, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to it, military personnel will be able to receive compensation only after dismissal from service.
The document proposes to determine that unused annual vacation days during military service that were not granted to military personnel during a special period from the moment of the announcement of mobilization are subject to monetary compensation, which is paid in the year of the military personnel's dismissal from service.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada intends to introduce compensation for car insurance costs for combatants.
In 2024, Ukrainian drivers concluded more than 8 million contracts of Motor Third Party Liability Insurance, which is 5.61% more than in 2023.
