There were and are no directives to negotiate with anyone about territorial concessions, – Shmyhal

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stated that today there are and have been no directives from the President of Ukraine to negotiate with anyone about territorial concessions of Ukraine.

He said this during the question hour to the government, which was broadcast by the Verkhovna Rada member from the European Solidarity faction Oleksii Honcharenko on his YouTube channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Regarding territorial concessions, there is a clear position of the President of Ukraine, he has repeatedly voiced it – Ukraine is not going to cede its territories. The territorial integrity and sovereignty of our state is the number one priority for us, this is determined by the UN Charter, international law. We do not have and have not had any directives at all to conduct any talks with anyone about territorial concessions of Ukraine," – Shmyhal noted in response to a question about the negotiations with the US in Saudi Arabia.

According to him, Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire to demonstrate that russia wants to continue the war and will violate the agreements.
