On the night of Thursday, March 13, the aggressor country russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Kursk Oblast and 117 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the following directions: Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
This is stated in the message of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09:00 a.m., it was confirmed that 74 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types were shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions.
38 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences).
The Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia Regions were affected by the russian attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Air Forces demonstrated the destruction of a russian cruise missile by the IRIS-T complex.
