AFU have not completely withdrawn from Sudzha. Kostenko tells about fighting in Kursk Oblast

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not completely withdrawn from the city of Sudzha in the Kursk Oblast.

This was told to journalists by Roman Kostenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos faction, secretary of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"I spoke with the fighters who are there this morning, and they do not confirm our complete withdrawal from Sudzha," he said.

According to him, there is information that the russians control a certain territory of the city and fighting continues.

He confirmed that the situation in this axis is really difficult, because the russians are "pressing".

"Our command is trying to stabilize somewhere, restore the situation somewhere, using new reserves, but the enemy continues to press," he said.

The MP also said that russian troops entered the territory of Ukraine in order to interrupt logistics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast.

"But I have no information that our troops have completely withdrawn from Sudzha as of two hours ago," he stressed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian troops are trying to break through the border in the Sumy Region to cut off the logistical routes that provide Ukrainian troops with supplies during the operation in the Kursk Oblast (russia).
