On the night of Wednesday, March 12, russian troops launched 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 133 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 98 drones, another 20 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of March 12 (from 07:00 pm on March 11), the enemy struck Odesa and Kryvyi Rih with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea, and also attacked with 133 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF, Chauda - TOT Crimea.
"As of 09:30 am, it has been confirmed that 98 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Kherson Regions. 20 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.
The russian attack affected the Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv Regions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of March 11, the russians launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 126 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down a missile and 79 drones, and another 35 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
