US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, plans to visit Moscow this week for talks with russian leader vladimir putin.
This was reported by Bloomberg, citing its own sources.
According to the agency, Witkoff will visit russia for the second time in this role. The exact date of his trip was not disclosed.
The visit will take place in parallel with talks between Ukrainian officials with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, Donald Trump said that the United States is preparing for "big meetings" with representatives of Ukraine and russia.
As previously reported, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrii Yermak announced the arrival of the Ukrainian delegation to Saudi Arabia, where talks between Ukraine and the United States are to be held on March 11.
