Russia announces massive drone attack: they claim to have shot down 337 UAVs

The russian defense ministry announced that on the night of March 11, hundreds of drones attacked the country's territory. According to the agency, it was allegedly possible to shoot down 337 drones.

The russian defense ministry reported this on Telegram.

According to the russian military department, the attack covered 10 regions.

In particular, 91 drones were allegedly shot down in Moscow, 126 in the Kursk Oblast, 38 in the Bryansk Oblast, 25 in the Belgorod Oblast, and 22 in the Ryazan Oblast. The russian defense ministry also announced the destruction of 10 drones over the Kaluga Oblast, 8 each in the Lipetsk and Oryol Oblasts, 6 in the Voronezh Oblast, and 3 in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

Traditionally, the russian authorities do not disclose information about damage to facilities on the territory of the russian federation and the number of drones that were able to reach their targets.

Before that, russian officials reported a massive drone attack on Moscow. According to their data, as of the morning of March 11, 69 drones had been destroyed. Airports in the russian capital were disrupted, and destruction and an alleged killed were recorded.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Monday, March 10, russian troops launched 176 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 130 of them, another 42 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
