In 2024, under the contracts, the Defense Procurement Agency paid suppliers about UAH 250 billion, and received products worth less than UAH 150 billion.
This is stated in the UP material, Censor.NET reports.
"Where more than UAH 100 billion (not million!) is hanging around, we need to understand each individual case. But the weapons for this money did not reach the front. In many areas, the Defense Procurement Agency generally coped with deliveries normally. But when it comes to large-caliber shells and mines, sometimes the indicators are very deplorable. For example, this applies to 155-caliber shots. Formally, in 2024, contracts were concluded for almost 100,000 pieces for the needs of the General Staff for this nomenclature, but the actual delivery did not amount to even a tenth," Ukrainska Pravda notes.
Recall that in 2024 and until the end of January 2025, the Defense Procurement Agency was headed by Maryna Bezrukova. At the end of January, Rustem Umerov ended the corporate conflict by dismissing Bezrukova: "There are many talks about purchasing weapons for the army, the result is unsatisfactory."
