MasterCard bank card users are massively reporting problems with payments through terminals and transfers.
This is evidenced by data from the Downdetector website.
Problems with the service began on March 9 at around 10 a.m. Ukrainian users also began reporting MasterCard failures.
PrivatBank confirmed payment problems and added that they were dealing with the problem.
"Currently, there may be difficulties with some transactions. Our specialists are already working to resolve the difficulties, we apologize for the temporary inconvenience," PrivatBank noted.
Monobank also confirmed that they are recording payment problems, but added that payment difficulties are currently only among MasterCard users. There are problems with transfers, transactions may be canceled, and payments with cards of this payment system.
Recall that in October 2024, the Ukrainian Monobank began sending messages to customers informing them of the need to change their MasterСard card. It is suggested to open a card serviced by the Visa payment system and it is noted that this must be done by the end of the year.
