King Charles reveals his morning playlist - what Monarch listens to at breakfast

King of Great Britain Charles III has compiled a selection of favorite songs that are included in his morning playlist. This playlist will be part of a special edition on the Apple Music platform, the premiere of which will take place in a few days.

This is reported by CNN.

The list of favorite compositions of the Monarch includes tracks by Australian singer Kylie Minogue, Jamaican musician Bob Marley, the iconic Grace Jones, as well as Nigerian artist Davido, who works in the Afrobeat style - a musical genre that combines traditional West African rhythms with elements of jazz, funk and high life. In addition, the selection includes songs by modern British singer RAYE, who was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2024.

As part of the special, the King also shared personal memories of meeting some of the artists and explained why these songs have special meaning to him.

"Music has always been an important part of my life. It remains so for many people. But above all, music has the ability to lift the mood and unite people during celebrations. In other words, it brings joy," Charles said during the recording of a radio program that will be broadcast on March 10 in honor of Commonwealth Day.

In addition, a video has already been released on the Apple website in which the King talks about his love of music. The video shows how the Royal Orchestra performs Bob Marley's composition "Could You Be Loved" right in front of Buckingham Palace.

You can listen to this special on March 11 and 12 on Apple Music.

As a reminder, the Royal Family is taking steps to get closer to ordinary Britons. Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales, visited the town of Pontypridd in Wales on the eve of the national holiday, St. David's Day. There, they baked a cake in one of the local cafes.
