Trump promised to end war in 24 hours, but did not say what day - Kellogg

US President Donald Trump said that he could end russia's war against Ukraine in 24 hours and potentially return the territories captured by the aggressor, but did not name the date and regions.

This was announced by the US President's Special Envoy to russia and Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, during a discussion at an event at the Council on Foreign Relations on Friday, March 7.

Kellogg noted that in order to end the war, there must be a dialogue between the parties, which is why Trump spoke with russian dictator putin.

"He really talked, he talked about the potential possibility of returning territories from russia. He really said so, it was a public comment. But he did not say which territories. It's like when the President said he would end the war in 24 hours. We did not say what day," Kellogg said.

In addition, Trump's Special Envoy emphasized that leaders should talk for peace and stop the killings.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 6, the US President's Special Envoy to russia and Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said that Ukraine was allegedly to blame for the fact that Washington stopped providing military assistance to Kyiv and sharing intelligence with it.

Kellogg also said that Washington considers the continued policy of isolating russia, which was pursued by the administration of the previous US President, to be unviable.

In addition, Kellogg said that President Donald Trump intends to reset relations with russia, as this is supposedly necessary to end the war in Ukraine.
