Should we switch clocks to daylight saving time this month?

The law on the abolition of daylight saving time has not yet been signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This is evidenced by the data on the card of bill No. 4201, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Although the law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on July 16, 2024, it will not enter into force without the presidential signature.

According to the final provisions of the law, the clocks should stop changing from January 1, 2025.

Thus, Ukraine was to remain on "winter" time without switching to "summer" time.

On Sunday, March 30, 2025 (at 3 a.m.), the clocks will need to be moved forward 1 hour - to daylight saving time, since the law has not yet entered into force.

In the event of a sudden signing of the law, which has not happened since August 21, 2024 (when the law was sent to Zelenskyy for signature), the agency will report this.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, BBC Ukraine in October 2024, citing sources in the presidential team, reported that Zelenskyy does not plan to sign the bill that cancels the further seasonal adjustment of clock hands after the transition to winter time.
