The UK will continue to provide intelligence to Ukraine despite the US having stopped doing so. It will be less detailed information than what Kyiv received from Washington.
The Guardian writes about this with references to sources.
London will stop sharing only the information it received from the US. Kyiv will be sent both ready-made information and raw sources.
"They are not as large-scale as the US capabilities and cannot take their place," said a former government insider.
In particular, London will send warnings about russian strikes and some information that will help it continue to strike deep into russia.
Ukraine receives data collected from satellites, ground stations, surveillance aircraft such as Rivet Joint, and even secretly deployed ground forces, as well as from open sources, the Guardian reports.
As we will recall, on March 5, the Director General of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Ratcliffe, confirmed that Washington had stopped sharing intelligence with Kyiv.
French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu said on Thursday that France was already sharing its intelligence with Ukraine. In addition, the country is working to accelerate the provision of aid packages to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, US allies are considering reducing the intelligence they share with Washington in response to the Trump administration's conciliatory approach to russia.
