The Air Forces struck a russian command post in the Kherson Region and an enemy stronghold in the Kursk Oblast.
This is stated in a message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On March 5, 2025, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered a high-precision strike on the command post of the 17th Tank Regiment of the 70th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces in the city of Oleshky, which is in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Region, as well as on the stronghold of the 2nd company of the 177th Separate Marine Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces in the village of Plekhovo, Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation," it says.
It is emphasized that these strikes are a continuation of a series of fire strikes aimed at reducing the military potential of the russian Armed Forces on the way to liberating the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of Thursday morning, March 6, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, had lost 1,140 soldiers, 5 tanks, and 80 drones in the war with Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that on the night of March 4, the Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, struck a number of important facilities of the aggressor state, russia - the oil pumping infrastructure was hit, as well as the Syzran oil refinery. In addition, explosions were heard in the area of the Sokhranovka linear production department of the main gas pipelines.
