Ukraine and the United States of America are working on organizing a new meeting. Kyiv expects positive results of the discussions next week.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in his traditional evening video address to Ukrainians.
According to him, today the Ukrainian and American teams began working on organizing the meeting.
"Andrii Yermak and Michael Waltz spoke, there is positive movement. We hope for the first results next week," the President said.
Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is currently doing a lot of work on the international front. Today he held talks with the heads of government of the Netherlands, Portugal and Slovenia. The President also spoke with the German Chancellor.
In addition, Ukraine is preparing to participate in the European Union summit. It will be held in Brussels on Thursday, March 6.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Zelenskyy said that Ukraine and allies are preparing a plan for the first steps to achieve a just peace.
Recall that on March 4, Zelenskyy published an X post in which he declared his desire to sign an agreement on minerals and his readiness for peace negotiations.
