French President Emmanuel Macron said that peace in Ukraine cannot be concluded under the dictates of the aggressor country russia, it should not be the country's capitulation.
According to Yevropeiska Pravda, Macron said this in his address to the nation.
According to him, Europe must continue to support Ukraine until negotiations with russia yield news of peace that "will be reliable for them and for all of us."
"Therefore, the path to peace cannot be one in which Ukraine is abandoned to its fate - on the contrary. Peace cannot be concluded at any price under the dictates of Russia. Peace cannot be Ukraine's capitulation," Macron said.
The French President emphasized that peace in Ukraine should not be another ceasefire. He recalled that Ukraine and Europe have already faced something similar in the period from 2014 to 2022.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, previously Macron said that he would convene a meeting in Paris of the chiefs of staff of those countries that are ready to guarantee Ukraine's security in the event of a possible ceasefire.
And Reuters reported, citing European diplomats, that Ukraine, the United Kingdom and France are developing a plan to end the war. It is planned that it will be ready in the coming days.
